How long does installation actually take?+
For a certified installer, a typical EasyStar retrofit is a half-day to a day on-site, depending on pool access and cable routing.
Does it work with a pool cover?+
In most configurations, yes. The bracket sits over the pool edge and the housing is low-profile — confirm compatibility with your specific cover system during the site check.
Saltwater pools?+
Yes, up to 0.4% salt content with the same dissolution rules as HydroStar. Above that, ask about the optional brine-water-resistant version.
What's the difference between EasyStar and HydroStar, really?+
Same turbine, same current, same motor. HydroStar is built into the pool wall during construction. EasyStar hooks onto the edge of a finished pool and adds 0.5 m to the minimum pool length requirement (5 m vs HydroStar's 4.5 m).
